We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js and AWS to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role combines innovation and speed to ensure that the team is on track to meet the objectives of our product launches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building, testing, and deploying scalable and efficient software applications using Node.js built on AWS technologies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Architects, and Global Teams.
- Providing hands-on technical development and mentorship to team members to improve their skills and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Conducting code reviews and ensuring that software is developed following established coding standards and architectural guidelines.
- Proactively identifying and resolving technical issues, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in the development process.
- Managing and prioritizing the workload of the development team, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for communication between stakeholders and the development team.
Requirements:
- Proven success in leading and managing development teams, delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- 7+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Node.js and JavaScript-based application development.
- 3+ years of experience working with AWS services, including Cloud Formations, WAF, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and RDS.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD processes, and DevOps principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering creative solutions to challenging problems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Desirable Skills:
- AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect certification.
- Experience with Azure services, Azure Bot Framework, Azure Function Apps, CosmosDB.
- Familiarity with Azure AAD (B2C), Adobe (AJO, AEP, AEM).
