Job Description
Microsoft is seeking a senior software engineer with a security mindset to join the IDNA Security team, responsible for protecting Entra services.
As a member of this close-knit community of engineers, you will work closely with various services, collaborate with other security teams, and help services launch and run securely.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, technical engineering experience, and proficiency in working with Azure cloud technologies, Identity Management, Machine Learning, and AI.
Key responsibilities include designing and developing security monitoring systems for threat detection, collaborating with security investigators and RED teams, and implementing solutions to roll out security monitoring tools across all infrastructure.
Additionally, you will provide technical leadership for engineering excellence, influence the adoption of secure systems, and maintain live services operations.

**Key Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field
- Technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, Java Script, Python
- Proficient in working with Azure cloud technologies, Identity Management, Machine Learning, and AI
- Experienced in data analytics to generate threat intelligence signals
- Skilled in Kusto Query Language (KQL) or SQL
- Adept at developing and maintaining security monitoring systems
