Senior Software Test Engineer needed to design, implement, and execute test procedures for software programs.

We are launching a new state-of-the-art technology facility in Dublin, Ireland, which will be a center of excellence for our global Product and Technology organization. The Dublin-based team will play a critical role in our continued digital transformation, focusing on software development, automotive technology, and engineering.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a cooperative manner with software engineers, product, and program managers to ensure the quality and stability of the system throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and execute test procedures to ensure software programs work as intended.
- Work with software engineers, program managers, and product stakeholders to understand product features and requirements.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end automated and manual test cases.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure the effectiveness and quality of components and systems developed.
- Generate testing completion metrics and analysis, as well as status read-outs to upper management.
- Develop and enhance test plans, test scripts, and test methodologies to ensure exhaustive testing of assigned software systems.
- Anticipate potential software problems by creating test scenarios.
Requirements:
- BS Engineering or equivalent experience required; MS Engineering desired.
- 3-5+ years' experience with Test Development and Environments.
- Experience in Automotive Software development, Automotive Frameworks, and Automotive Client Application.
- Experience in test automation and application of software development life cycle concept.
- Knowledge and application of at least one programming language.
