The Eir Grid Legal Team works closely with the business to support the business in delivering the Eir Grid Group Strategy.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Solicitor to join our Legal team.
The Senior Solicitor will provide legal advice to the business on complex commercial, contractual, regulatory, compliance, and electricity market related matters.
As a member of the Eir Grid Group Legal team, the Senior Solicitor will provide legal expertise, guidance, and support to the Eir Grid Group in a dynamic environment.
This role is suited to an experienced legal professional who enjoys working with the business in a high-performing and fast-paced environment.
- Provision of legal advice to the Eir Grid Group on complex commercial, contractual, regulatory, and compliance matters
- Driving and proactively liaising with relevant business areas and key staff to anticipate and analyze legal risks
- Consistently applying professional values and sound judgments based on experience in the energy industry
- Providing effective and solutions-driven legal advice, support, and guidance to the business
- Participating in legal team initiatives and meetings
- Supporting and mentoring more junior legal team members
- Qualified lawyer with at least 6+ years relevant post-qualification experience
- Proven track record of proactively organizing and managing high workloads
- Ability to quickly master complex areas of law and technical industry parameters
- Results-driven, highly organized, and efficient
- Strong commercial and legal judgment
- Excellent attention to detail and strong commercial focus
- A demonstrated ability to work on own initiative
