Career growth opportunities in a global environment Newry location with 1-3 days/week office presence (flexibility for the right person) £80,000-£90,000/Year (€90,000 - €105,000/Year) + Bonus + Benefits As a Senior IT Solution Architect, you will research, design, and deliver IT architecture solutions across various domains (infrastructure, applications, business process, data) to support our client's business and IT strategies. Your Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps. Ensure consistent architecture decisions across domains. Provide integrated systems analysis and recommend solutions. Support and document IT architecture issues. Specify and design complex systems. Apply appropriate design standards, methods, and tools. Review systems design for technology and resource efficiency. Establish policies for selecting architecture components. Produce detailed component specifications and designs. Advise on system development and integration. Manage specialist knowledge across various IT topics. Set standards, strategies, and procedures for the development lifecycle. Maintain in-depth knowledge of technical specialisms. Serve as a subject matter expert for architecture domain decisions. Comply with GxP requirements and standards using appropriate SOPs, methods, and tools. Perform additional duties as needed. Your Essential Criteria: BSc in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience. 10+ years in IT with 5-7 years in architecture. Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceuticals. Experience with third-party IT service providers and consultancies. Knowledge of solutions development, maintenance, service delivery, and project delivery. Expertise in at least one technology area with broad IT knowledge. Strong change management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and MS SharePoint. Your Desirable Criteria: TOGAF or Zachman certification. Experience in a regulated environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Server Platforms, Active Directory, MS Exchange, LAN/WAN, and MS-Access. Experience with CRM, SCM, ERP, MES, or LIMS systems. Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMWare, Citrix ZenApp). Knowledge of backup technologies (Symantec BackupExec, Veem).
