Standalone role, no management responsibilities
€110k base + 30% bonus + benefits
Our client is a well-known global player in the financial services space.
Due to the continued success of one of their core product lines, they have opened up a new position for a Director of Architecture.
In this role, you will work alongside other specialist Architects, and in particular, you will be responsible for the back-end architecture of the platform.
You will be an individual contributor, so no management of a team is involved here.
Skills Needed:
Experience shaping product strategy, roadmap, and implementation with business leaders.
Skilled in analyzing business problems, understanding long-term vision, and developing strategic technical solutions.
Ability to produce technical architecture and build consensus with architects and technology partners.
Deliver integration architectures connecting multiple systems for business outcomes, especially with enterprise partners.
Knowledge of APIs, microservices, infrastructure, data architecture, security, and new technologies.
Solid understanding of technical architecture aspects (security, reliability, performance, cost optimization).
Collaborate with peer and enterprise architects on standards, strategy, and process improvement.
Work independently and with various organizational levels, including technical and non-technical team members.
Experience with Azure, Integration Patterns (APIs, Messaging, Events), and OAuth.
Experience with recordkeeping platforms or similar complex architectures.
Skills Required:
Ability to partner with business leaders on strategy and roadmap formulation.
Strong presentation, documentation, communication, and influencing skills.
Provide technical leadership and solutions to agile teams.
Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Network across business units to optimize reusable processes and practices.
Willingness to experiment, innovate, and seek learning resources.
Financial industry experience is a plus.
