Senior Speech and Language Therapist Opportunity: Deliver high-quality care to patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a dynamic mental health and neuro-disability team.
The role focuses on delivering high-quality care and supporting patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and design individualized therapy plans.
- Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting plans as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervise staff, and support professional development.
- Play a key role in the practice education of student therapists.
Requirements:
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and CORU registration.
- Dysphagia qualification to an accredited level.
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, with at least 1 year in neuro-disability or mental health settings.
- Strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Position Details:
- Permanent, full-time (37 hours/week) with part-time options available.
