**Senior Speech and Language Therapist Wanted** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our child disability team in Waterford city, providing services to children and families with a range of disabilities. **Job Description** As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for: * Planning and managing individual and group caseloads, including assessments, interventions, and diagnosis for children with a range of disabilities * Fostering an awareness of the need for value for money and a sense of accountability for budgets within the team/service * Taking responsibility for the achievement of service delivery targets by regularly monitoring, recording, and reporting performance outcomes and statistics * Demonstrating innovation in aiming to work within resource limitations to sustain and enhance the service * Providing a speech and language therapy service to include assessment, diagnostics, and intervention, clinical and performance supervision, and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities **Key Responsibilities:** * Planning and managing individual and group caseloads * Fostering an awareness of value for money and accountability for budgets * Achieving service delivery targets * Demonstrating innovation in resource management * Providing speech and language therapy services **Requirements:** * Registered or eligible for registration as a Speech and Language Therapist by the Speech and Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU * 3 years full-time post-qualification clinical experience * Full CORU Registration * Previous experience working with children with a range of disabilities, including physical, sensory, intellectual, and autistic spectrum disorder * Relevant postgraduate training specific to child disability services * Experience in assessment of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (desirable) **What We Offer:** * The chance to work independently and collaboratively, allowing you to make informed decisions that shape the care provided * Extensive professional development, clinical support, and mentorship to enhance your career growth * Joining a close-knit and experienced multidisciplinary team, working alongside Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists who are experts in their respective fields * A mixed caseload of paediatrics that will establish a solid foundation of experience * Generous annual leave entitlement * Flexible working entitlement
