Senior Speech and Language Therapist required to work with adults in a South Dublin hospital, conducting assessments and implementing therapy plans.
PE Global Healthcare is working closely with our client to recruit a highly skilled professional for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results.
- Provide therapy sessions to clients, both one-on-one and in group settings, using evidence-based techniques.
- Evaluate, monitor and document client progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and holistic care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Registered with CORU as a Speech and Language Therapist in Ireland.
- Dysphagia qualification to accredited level by IASLT.
- 3 years full-time post qualification clinical experience working with adults.
- At least 1 year full-time experience working within a Neuro-disability setting or a Mental Health setting with adults.
- Clinical proficiency in the assessment and treatment of adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties.
