We are seeking a Senior Staff Engineer R&D Lead to join our Neurovascular team in Stryker Neuro Hub. This role requires a technical expert with a passion for guiding and mentoring junior engineers.
The successful candidate will lead projects using technical expertise and excellent communication skills. The Neurovascular Stroke Market is experiencing significant growth, driven by new product developments to improve clinical outcomes.
As a Senior Staff R&D Engineer, you will work with a team of engineers and technicians to develop processes and technologies for launching new products. This includes maintaining detailed procedures, drawings, and specifications using computer-aided design software.
Key responsibilities include:
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Project Management: Lead projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Process Development: Develop and maintain detailed procedures, drawings, and specifications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to facilitate successful launches of new neurovascular devices.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education: B.S. degree in engineering or applicable technical field.
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in process development, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good leadership abilities, analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong technical capabilities.
