As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be designing and developing high-quality software to deliver key features of the Product roadmaps. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop high quality, efficient, testable software to implement key product features. Bring features all the way through the Design, Test, Deploy and Maintenance cycles. Understand the overall architecture of the system and the wider ecosystem. Actively participate in team code reviews and enhance overall team velocity. Act as a mentor to other members of the team, fostering open communication and collaboration. Apply processes appropriately for data security, traceability, and information sharing. Champion software development best practices, design patterns, and agile methodologies. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a globally extended team. Embrace change and be ready to adapt to evolving requirements, technologies, and priorities. What you will bring to the role: Detailed understanding of object-oriented programming & design. Excellent programming skills, particularly in Java or Python. Experience of developing REST APIs. Understanding of Microservices architecture principles and best practices. Cloud Native application development, with AWS based technologies. Experience of CI/CD processes and technologies with a proven understanding of tools like Jenkins and Bitbucket.
