Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist - VIP

Location: Hybrid (2 days in office) Gort, Co. Galway.
At Natus, our Strategic Sourcing team supports Global Operations by developing and executing sourcing strategies for specific products and services.
The successful candidate will execute the sourcing strategy through global supplier selection and relationship management, ensuring highest quality and lowest total cost solutions.
Success is achieved by collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders, and implementing solutions.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join an expanding company and team in a key supply chain role supporting our Neuro product line.
Key Responsibilities:
* Use analytics to track price variance and develop cost improvement strategies.
* Manage a diverse global supplier portfolio, contract manufacturers, and distributors.
* Control price increases and achieve cost reductions through contract negotiations.
* Support Product Management and Engineering teams with New Product Introductions.
* Benchmark best practices and industry trends to develop a roadmap and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Engage with internal stakeholders to drive initiatives forward.
* Contract Management - partner with the Legal team to manage contracts and drive favourable contract terms.
* Supplier Performance management - monitor performance and delivery of contracted services.
* Reporting - Spend analysis and presentations to leadership on key strategies.
Travel: 20% International travel.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar discipline preferred.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Strategic Sourcing or purchasing role, ideally within the medical device industry.
* Experience in sourcing plastics, metals for Class 3 medical devices/equipment (preferred).
* Experience working across a global supplier base.
* Strong contract negotiation skills with cost-saving achievements.
* Experience in team acquisitions and consolidations.
* Experience in Regulatory and Registrations (Global).
* Ability to deliver assigned projects and gate reviews.
* Knowledge and experience driving initiatives that improve EBITA performance.
* Ability to lead with initiative and drive strategies.
* Systems experience - Power BI, Oracle, Agile and Excel.
