Qualifications: * Minimum Level 8 Degree in Structural Engineering. * Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience of Structural Design. * Minimum 3 years’ experience of taking a lead design role on projects. * Chartered Engineer or nearing Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable, as is additional years of experience beyond the minimum noted above. Candidate Experience Requirements: * Experience of designing building structures using reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry, proprietary roofing and cladding products. * Experience of designing alterations and modifications to building structures. * Experience of designing foundations, pile caps, retaining structures. * Experience of specifying and reviewing site investigations, preparing sketches to illustrate designs, and writing technical reports. * Experience of reviewing and checking completeness and accuracy of tender drawings. * Experience of inspecting construction works and preparing site reports. * Experience of coordinating designs with other disciplines. * Familiarity with the requirements and implementation of the Irish Building Regulations. * Perform work in compliance with the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015). * Revit & BIM experience and competency would be an advantage Benefits * Permanent Role in Cork Office * Salary negotiable dependent on experience * Opportunity to work in a key role on a wide range of interesting projects * Opportunity to work in collaboration with all engineering disciplines * Opportunity to develop skills * Opportunity for career development and advancement If this is of interest to you, please email your CV in Word format to Brook
