Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and providing technical expertise in the preparation and review of detailed technical designs for strategic projects. This will include calculations, drawings, risk assessments, and design certificates.
- Preparation and review of detailed technical designs for strategic projects.
- Proposing and/or developing value-engineered alternative solutions.
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to an established Engineering team.
- Liaising with Project Teams, Subcontractors, Technical Office Team, and Suppliers.
- Developing processes, procedures, and standards for technical design.
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in Structural Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in design engineering and a minimum of 10 years' experience working in Geotech, Concrete, Steel, Construction, or Temporary Works Design Engineering.
- Completed a third-level Structural, Structural or Design Engineering qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in design engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience working in Geotech, Concrete, Steel, Construction, or Temporary Works Design Engineering.
