An Engineer to work as a Senior Structural Project Engineer to assist in the design supervision and monitoring of building projects across various sectors including Industrial Residential Commercial Educational Healthcare and Civic Buildings.brbrbKey Responsibilities:/bbrulbrliDesign of building structures to the Eurocodes using various materials/librliPreparing manual calculations as well as using software packages such as Tekla Structural Designer Robot and TEDDS/librliKnowledge of Revit desirable/librliMaintaining design folders/librliCommunication with internal and external parties/librliPreparation of design drawings and review of drawings prepared by others/librliUndertaking site inspections as required under BCAR 2014/librliReport writing/librliReview of Contractor and Design Team proposals/librliAssisting in undertaking duties of the PSDP Assigned Certifier and Ancillary Certifier/libr/ulbrbrbRequirements:/bbrulbrliStrong technical knowledge of structural engineering and the construction process/librliExcellent written and verbal communication in English/librliEnthusiastic diligent team player who is willing to take responsibility/librliComfortable working as part of a team/libr/ulbrbrbPreferred Qualifications:/bbrulbrliThird Level Engineering Qualification (Level 8 or higher)/librliMinimum 8 years of experience/libr/ulbrbrbLocation:/b Dun Laoghaire Co.
