#IJ Senior Structural Engineer Sisk Strategic Projects is a services division within the John Sisk & Son business, operating in the Energy/Decarbonisation Retrofit, Repurposing and Refurbishment sectors The preferred person will bring hands on Structural Engineering experience and will use this experience to harness the capability of an established existing team. This person will provide mentoring, structure, and guidance by leading by example. Previous leadership/mentoring experience is essential for this role. You will be: Responsible for the preparation and review of detailed technical designs for strategic projects (including calculations, drawings, risk assessments and design certificates) Proposing and/or developing value engineered alternative solutions (during tender or construction phases) Provide Technical solutions, guidance and mentoring to an established Engineering team Liaising with, Project Teams, Subcontractors, Technical Office Team and Suppliers Developing, instigating and maintaining processes, procedures and standards for technical design You will have: Completed a third level structural, structural or design engineering qualification. Previous experience mentoring and managing teams A minimum of 10 years' experience in design engineering A minimum of 10 years' experience working in Geotech, Concrete, Steel, Construction or Temporary Works Design Engineering Remuneration & Benefits: Competitive salary Pension & Benefits Company Car / Car Allowance 26+ days annual leave Much more!
