Senior Structural Engineer - Tekla/Revit

Our client is Ireland's leading civil & structural engineering consultancy.
You will be working with senior colleagues on the delivery of major structural projects.
You will be responsible for the technical, managerial and commercial aspects.

Key Responsibilities:
Involves client relationship management
Implement Company policy
Plan and manage project resources
Undertake career planning and arrange for effective mentoring and training of employees
Offer pro-active advice in relation to problem solving issues
Oversee compliance with Company's Quality Management System
Oversee compliance with Health and Safety practices by those under your direction
Manage client relationships and business development


Requirements:
Honours degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
Minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience in engineering consultancy
Understanding of engineering principles and a strong technical focus
Design abilities to provide robust and economical solutions in concrete, steel, timber, masonry, etc.

Significant base of IT skills including structural design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, SCIA, TEDDS suite, CADS suite, STRAP, etc.

REVIT + Auto CAD skills
Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project
Understanding of the Irish regulatory and policy issues
The ability to work closely in partnership with clients and contractors and other members of design teams
Strong communication skills both oral and written
A positive, proactive approach with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios
