Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a high-calibre Senior Structural Engineer to work on commercial, institutional, and industrial projects in Ireland.
This role offers the opportunity to develop into a member of the senior management team and contribute to the effective management of the Company.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in project delivery, and the ability to develop client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Company policy
- Plan and manage project resources
- Undertake career planning and arrange for effective mentoring and training of employees under your direction
- Offer pro-active advice in relation to problem solving issues
- Oversee compliance with Company's Quality Management System
- Oversee compliance with Health and Safety practices by those under your direction
Business Development:
- Work closely with the Directors to help realise the Company's business plan
- Manage client relationships and business development
- Assist with the development of marketing strategies
Projects:
- Develop fee proposals and contract reviews
- Client liaison
- Undertake project cost control
- Negotiating fee variations with Clients
Technical:
- Lead and promote design excellence
- Delivery of sustainable and profitable engineering solutions
- Confidently run multiple projects at various stages and project values
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Level 8 / 9 Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Chartered and preferably a member of the Institution of Structural Engineers
- Minimum 12 years' postgraduate experience
- Experience on Architect-led projects
- Good technical, communication, and management skills
- Commercial astuteness
