Senior Structural Engineer | Dublin One of the Market Leaders in Precast, Formwork and Facades Large Prestigious Projects Excellent Packages and Career Development Opportunities Oradeo Recruitment are currently seeking interest for a Senior Structural Engineer to work with one of the market leaders in precast, formwork and facades in Ireland/UK, based in Dublin. Duties & Responsibilities: Managing and coordinating deliverables and resources on projects Preparing conceptual, schematic, and detailed design solutions for precast design Liaising and coordinating with external design team members Liaising with clients and their representatives (e.g. architects, engineers, and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress Attending design team meetings as required Responding to and resolving issues arising on projects in a timely manner Contributing to internal process improvement, development, and review of output to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation Monitoring team progress across projects with regular reviews and control Responsible for coaching and managing the career development of team members, targeted to improve both their behavioral and functional competencies Necessary Skills and Requirements: Chartered Structural Engineer with 10 years’+ post-graduate experience in the design and management of a range of building projects Should be willing to lead by example and be project lead on projects Tactical and strategic thinking are essential Must have strong structural design experience High levels of planning and a thorough orientation towards detailing In-depth knowledge of construction & constructability practices & principles Leadership skills and experience managing a design team essential Excellent attention to detail, written and oral communication skills Knowledge of current BIM operating systems and standards along with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Project, and BIM tools Track record working with clients Experience in the precast concrete industry an advantage Working knowledge of Tekla an advantage Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative For more information about this Senior Structural Engineer opportunity, contact Matthew Durkan at Oradeo Recruitment confidentially on +353 1 687 7188 or apply in confidence. #J-18808-Ljbffr
