This position will require occasional travel to sites in the Republic of Ireland.Package:Competitive rates of pay.22 Days annual leave.Sick pay after completion of probation.Take part in our “Career Pathway Programme”, where there is an emphasis on training & career development.Opportunity to progress your career within a growing company.Voluntary Pension available on completion of probation.Employee membership for our LAYA EAP Programme – 24/7 Mental Wellbeing Support & Employee Assistance Programme.Health Insurance Discount.Life Assurance Payment.Standard industry training provided.Key ResponsibilitiesMain Responsibilities• Power electric system substations and their equipments 2D and 3D (BIM) modelling, Substations layouts and arrangements, Main power electric systems arrangements and electrical connections respecting technical constraints, External Overhead and Power cable substation connections, Power and signal cable substation routes and trenches, supporting frames and constructions, Details of power systems physical design and details of electric connections and joints• Drawing preparation (conceptual design, basic and detailed design documentation), Support mechanical construction design and verification• AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit (BIM) layout and arrangement drawings preparation, mechanical-civil-electrical systems clashes mitigation, details of electrical connections – terminations and joints• Geographical systems application for substations design, Integration of 3D scanners data into 3D models• Preparation of a complex power electric systems arrangements as a important part of engineering documentation divided into Work packages with interfaces• Ensure compliance with IEC, ISO and EU standards, regulations, requirements and building codes• Define project scope and provide technical support for the information requests prior to, and during construction / installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning phases, proposition of 3D views on power systems, mechanical support and civil structures• Completion of As-Built documentation after commissioning completion• Ability to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions• Travel to sites for site reviews and work with onsite field engineers, as well as provide engineering evaluations, electrical system audits, and start-up as needed• Involvement with the pre-commissioning and commissioning process• Comply with the safety legislation, in work respect safety, security rules, risks and recommendations during design phase and technically support of installations and commissioning phase• Completion of Design Risk Assessment & Preliminary H&S PlanQualifications & Skills Qualifications University education (BSc/MSc/PhD) – Mechanical / Civil / Electrical engineering Recognised academic training such as a Degree course, power utility professional training or relevant industry experience Knowledge Proficient use and knowledge of software such as MS Office, Outlook and MS Project Evidence of several consistent successes within power utilities sector (Transmission & Distribution, Power plants, Industrial power distribution)  Ability to evidence recent relevant senior & people leadership experience Skills Experience with power electric engineering design documentation and calculations Ability to cooperate in a team to complete complex power electric systems projects Developed client facing skills with a client orientated approach Commercially astute Ability to work with minimum supervision Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, Organisational & Planning Skills Able to balance competing priorities and meet personal targets within a fluctuating & demanding workload Committed to TLI Company Mission, Vision and Values and Business Objectives Customer focus; Professional; Honesty and Integrity Positive and flexible approach Open to innovation and collaboration Proactive with the ability to think ahead.
