Job Description

Senior Support Engineer role at Prevos Solutions, a dynamic Managed IT Service provider, requires resolving complex IT challenges and developing IT skills in a continuous learning environment.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the Senior Support Engineer will:

  • Resolve complex IT challenges, primarily by responding to support requests, including Office 365 administration, password resets, security administration, and hardware/printer troubleshooting and repair.
  • Set up and maintain user accounts in Active Directory, Office 365, and Antivirus/encryption environments.
  • Configure new server builds, migrate data, set up Active Directory Server, and maintain Active Directory.
  • Implement Disaster Recovery solutions, including file/folder and image backup, and test same.
  • Guide more junior members of the service delivery team.
  • Manage the process of pushing out updates to critical client network infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Full driver's license with no points, manual car.
  • Ability to respond to high-pressure situations with ease.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Fluency in one or more of the following networking technologies: Active Directory/Domain Control, TCP/IP, CCNA, Firewalls.
  • Fundamentals of Microsoft 365 Administrator.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT support role.
  • Degree in an IT-related subject.
  • Microsoft Certification.
  • Cisco Certification.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity software administration and related technologies.
