Job Description
Senior Systems Administrator sought to lead IT Operations team in provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of key end-user facing service components and other specialized systems.
Morgan Mc Kinley has partnered with a leading retailer in Ireland, UK and US to fill this critical role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve end-user technologies to increase employee productivity, efficiency, and satisfaction.
- Design, deploy and manage end-user computing solutions, with a strong emphasis on integrating and optimizing Azure services.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for device management, application deployment, and compliance enforcement in an Azure environment.
- Utilize App Locker to control which applications can run on end-user devices and enforce application control policies in Azure.
- Actively manage End User Computing service catalogue, Computing knowledge base and system documentation.
Requirements:
- BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years post qualification experience of computer hardware and software support experience in an enterprise environment.
- Strong experience of Microsoft Technologies: Azure AD, SCCM, WSUS, Intune MDM.
- Experience with configuring Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Proficiency in implementing and managing application control policies using App Locker.
- Excellent technology skills with Microsoft O365, MS Office and MS Collaboration tools.
- Experience supporting mobile devices and video conferencing systems.
- High level of knowledge of service desk policies and procedures.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of the Service Now ITSM platform.
- Automation experience using MS Power tools for user lifecycle management.
- SAP experience.
