Role Overview In this role, you'll take charge of overseeing the tax compliance requirements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring that all tax obligations are met with precision and professionalism. You will be responsible for both the preparation and review of tax returns across all tax heads, including Income Tax, Corporation Tax, and VAT. Beyond the basics, you'll identify and resolve tax issues, uncover tax planning opportunities, and provide strategic advice on the tax implications of key commercial decisions. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with other team members to plan and deliver professional tax advice, contributing to the development and implementation of our firm's tax compliance policies and procedures. You'll also stay ahead of the curve by interpreting and researching changes in tax legislation, ensuring that our clients are always informed and addition, you'll manage communications with Revenue on behalf of clients, ensuring their interests are well-represented. Youll also take the lead in reviewing and preparing supporting documentation, such as agreements and contracts, and play an integral role in training and mentoring junior staff members, helping them grow into the next generation of tax professionals. Your Profile You're the ideal candidate if you bring 4-5 years of post-qualification accountancy experience to the table, along with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines, ensuring compliance is both timely and accurate. Your strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and in-depth knowledge of ROS are essential for success in this role. Additionally, you possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and thrive as a collaborative team player who can also work independently and take initiative when needed.
