Job Description
Senior Technical Business Analyst sought for Dublin city-centre based client to work on business & data related projects.
Reporting to the IT Applications Manager, the Senior Technical Business Analyst will join the existing IT Applications team responsible for delivering business & data related projects across the client's group of companies.
The Senior Technical Business Analyst will work on a broad range of interesting projects, applying skills across organisational change, business transformation and data Analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between business and IT for assigned projects
- Work closely with the business and end users to ensure project goals align with business requirements
- Gather, document and understand business requirements from multiple stakeholders
- Work with process owners, developers and PMs on IT projects to understand and enhance current systems and processes
- Provide expert Data knowledge (data migration, data-insights & reporting)
- Develop strong and effective working relationships
- Create systems documentation through Word and Power Point
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications & Experience:
- A 3rd Level Qualification
- 5+ Years experience in a Technical Business Analysis role
- Good SQL and ETL experience
- Sound BA experience on software development projects
- Proficient in MS Excel, Power Point and, MS Word
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong financial services (Insurance) experience
- Stamp 4 Visa or EU Passport essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
