Senior Technical Officer Department of Nursing (Kerry Campus):
Job Description Summary
Supervise and coordinate technical staff and services in a Department of Nursing, with experience in healthcare simulation and use of simulation equipment.
Provide technical advice and assistance during practical classes, and assist with delivery of teaching and research.
Maintain simulation activities, learner confidentiality, and technical equipment, with a focus on quality and user experience.
Main Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Provide team lead and laboratories manager duties, collaborating with faculty and team members to ensure seamless simulation and clinical skills lab activities.
Educational Support: Provide technical advice and assistance during practical classes, and assist with delivery of teaching and research.
Technical Support and Maintenance: Plan and execute technical projects and operations, procuring and maintaining technical systems and equipment.
Citizenship Requirement: Eligibility to compete for posts is open to citizens of the European Economic Area (EEA) or to non-EEA nationals with a valid work permit.

Salary Scale: €67,085 to €79,467.
