**Senior Technical Specialist - Security Support (Cyber)** **Job Summary:** Experienced technologist required to manage Privileged Access Management solutions, ensuring continued operation and optimisation, with a focus on continuous improvement and exceeding expectations. Location: Dublin, IE **Role Description:** As a key member of the Endpoint Security team, you will be responsible for: * Providing full lifecycle management of the Privileged Access Management Suite, ensuring continued operation in accordance with service levels and stated functionality. * Design, build, deploy, and maintain all components of the PAM solution. * Version upgrades and patching of a large/complex environment. * Managing and implementing the schedule of change. * Periodic DR and Failover testing. * Automating processes to improve service and productivity. * Supporting and developing team members' skills, mentoring, and coaching junior engineers on the PAM solution. * Producing quality documentation and training material. * Ensuring adherence with risk management programmes. * Participating in Critical Incident Response Team for major incidents. * Security Infrastructure Capacity Planning & Management for the PAM service. * Attending project meetings and maintaining strong relationships. **Key Requirements:** * Third-level qualification in Information Security or IT, or equivalent work or education-related experience. * Five years' experience in an IT Security industry role and ten plus years' experience in the IT industry. * Demonstrable experience with Privileged Access Management Solutions. * Good experience in Network and Endpoint Defence strategies. * Ability to deal with complex issues and ambiguous situations. * Advanced technical troubleshooting skills, particularly in the Windows environment. * Experience with failover clusters, disaster recovery, backup & restore, patching, and server hardening. * Leadership and mentoring skills. * Ability to identify key influencers and build strong relationships. * Knowledge of information security and risk control frameworks such as COBi T, ISO 27001, ISO 27002, GDPR, and OWASP. * Recognized certifications desired, such as Security+, CISSP, PAM Vendor certificates, and SAN's certificates. **Key Competencies:** * Problem Solving and Decision Making * Planning & Organising * Team Working & Cross Functional Collaboration * Innovation and Change * Drive for Results **About the Company:** Canada Life Group is a top-level European holding company for the Great-West Lifeco Group's European insurance, reinsurance, and asset management companies.
