Senior Logistics Lead

Lead route optimisation strategies using data analytics, cost benefit analysis to optimise the logistics network.

• Lead project activities related to route optimisation liaising cross functionally with sourcing, operations, regulatory, quality and legal to define project scope, plan and execution.
• Own the EMEA service performance utilising data analytics, root cause determination, pareto analysis and trending to determine issues affecting service levels.
• Own and manage service level metrics across regions, countries, divisions, and modes of transport.
• Manage various transportation planning, policy, operations projects.
• Organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions.
• Document the routing of all materials across business units.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and achieve cost savings.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize transportation networks.
• Establishing working relationships with logistics partners.
• Develop and execute transportation strategies that align with organizational goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years + experience working in high volume healthcare logistics at a senior level.
• Proven track record in cultivating strong and collaborative relationships with vendors.
• Proven experience leading and executing complex global projects.
• Demonstrated experience building cost benefit analysis to drive decisions.
• Demonstrated experience using data analytics to drive strategic and operational decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organisation.
• Proven experience building department budgets.
• Service mindset focusing on building a best-in-class customer experience.

Work location: Hybrid Eligible - Job Duties allow for some remote working but require travel to Dublin HQ and Athlone Office.
