Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleAs a Senior Logistics Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Leading route optimisation strategies using data analytics, cost benefit analysis to optimise the logistics network.Leading project activities related to route optimisation liaising cross functionally with sourcing, operations, regulatory, quality and legal to define project scope, plan and execution encompassing multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.Own the EMEA service performance utilising data analytics, root cause determination, pareto analysis and trending to determine issues affecting service levels working with vendors and cross functionally to drive service enhancements.Own and manage service level metrics across regions, countries, divisions, and modes of transport communicating effectively across internal customersManage various transportation planning, policy, operations projects.Organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions, encompassing multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.Document the routing of all materials across business units, ensuring clarity and efficiency.Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and achieve cost savings.Continuously evaluate and optimize transportation networks, including carrier selection, modes of transportation, and distribution channels utilising cost benefit analysis to determine optimal routing and service levels.Establishing working relationships with logistics partners including monthly business reviews (MOR) and Quarterly business reviews (QBR) focusing on service levels, route optimisation and cost optimisation.Develop and execute transportation strategies that align with organizational goals and anticipate future needs.Ensure delivery quality meets organizational standards, identifying and resolving performance issues.Your Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.ANDIn addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:Minimum of 10 years + experience working in high volume healthcare logistics at a senior level.Proven track record in cultivating strong and collaborative relationships with vendors to ensure reliable and high-quality logistics services.Proven experience leading and executing complex global projects leading matrixed teams to execute the project objectives.Demonstrated experience building cost benefit analysis to drive decisions and optimise service levels.Demonstrated experience using data analytics to drive strategic and operational decisions.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organisation.Proven experience building department budgets bottom up, analysis cost variances, predicting potential cost increases and proactively managing changes in budget adherence.Service mindset focusing on building a best-in-class customer experienceStrong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex, inter-related project tasks.Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities.Work location:Hybrid Eligible  - Job Duties allow for some remote working but require travel to:Dublin HQ – attendance required once every 2 weeksAthlone Office - for induction/trainingMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being Solventum offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
