**Senior Underwriter for Personal Accident and Travel Insurance** We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Underwriter to lead the underwriting process for Personal Accident and Travel Insurance products, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead the underwriting process for Personal Accident and Travel Insurance products * Evaluate and approve high-value and complex cases, providing expert risk assessments and pricing recommendations * Design and launch innovative Personal Accident and Travel Insurance products that meet market needs and drive growth * Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning * Manage the performance of the Personal Accident and Travel Insurance portfolios, monitoring key metrics * Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Distribution teams to support the growth of the A&H business through brokers, partners, and direct channels * Ensure all underwriting practices comply with local and international regulations, industry standards, and company policies **Requirements:** * A degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline * Professional qualifications (e.g., ACII, CPCU) are advantageous * Experience in Accident & Health underwriting, with a strong focus on Personal Accident and Travel Insurance * Proven track record in product development, portfolio management, and risk assessment within the A&H insurance space * Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders **What We Offer:** * Competitive market leading salary depending on skills, experience, and qualifications * Generous pension (employee contribution matching of up to 14% if you contribute 8%) * Annual performance related bonus and pay review * Holiday allowance of 29 days plus bank holidays, and the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days * Free car parking * Generous Health & dental insurance contributions after six months * Aviva Matching Share Plan and Save As You Earn scheme and Approved Profit Share Scheme * Cycle to Work benefit scheme * Tax Saver Travel Scheme * Family friendly parents (matching paternity and maternity leave) and carers leave * Up to 40% discount for some Aviva products plus discounts for Friends and Family * Employee Assistance Programme * Volunteering days * Professional qualification support and transparent career progression plans **About Aviva:** Aviva is a leading insurance company that values diversity and inclusion.
