We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Release Train Engineer to join our Ireland Fund Accounting team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland and will be working in a hybrid capacity (20 days per quarter in the office).In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART) or product. The RTE’s major responsibilities are to facilitate the development events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value. RTEs communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement. The RTE facilitates process and execution and drives a culture of continuous improvement and integration by fostering community of practice. They drive and/or participate in lean-agile transformations, coach direction, and other teams in agile mindsets and new processes. They work with the Agile Program Management Office on program execution and operational excellence and understand and operate within Lean Budgets to ensure adherence to Guardrails. Responsibilities include:Coach leaders, teams and Scrum Masters in SAFeOversee cross pod coordination, prioritization, risks and dependenciesManage and optimize the flow through the program and facilitate PI Planning and readinessAggregate Team PI Aims into Program PI ObjectivesWork with the Agile Program Management Office on program execution and operational excellenceUnderstand and operate within Lean Budgets and ensure adherence to GuardrailsEscalate and track impedimentsEnsure strategy and execution alignmentHelp manage risks and dependencies and report statusDrive continuous improvement and continuous integrationFoster Communities of Practice and the use of engineering and Built-In Quality practicesTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:Bachelor's degree in business or technical-related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. Experience in providing consulting advice to senior IT and business management required. Experience with interpreting, documenting and driving execution of client requirements. Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Experience with fund accounting is required; experience with InvestOne is a plus. Strong knowledge of Lean-Agile concepts, practices, frameworks, and methods. Understands company organizational model, company structure, and Agile journey history. Effective facilitation and teaching methods. Coaching and mentoring approaches, including the distinction between the two.
