Senior Virtualisation Specialist required to implement virtualisation products and systems, ensuring highest level of availability, reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement virtualisation products and systems, including networking, security, servers and operating systems.
- Perform software product installation, configuration management, maintenance, testing and documentation of virtualisation platform.
- Ensure highest level of availability, reliability and performance for virtualisation platforms and associated products at both server and client level.
- Work with architecture teams to translate high level business requirements into technical designs and practical solutions.
- Define comprehensive automation for virtualised environment and provide level software and problem diagnosis together with other support team members and installs upgrades and patches.
- Develop best practices with respect to process and documentation/templates.
Requirements:
- 6+ years experience working as a Virtualisation Specialist, with strong expertise in virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Oracle VM).
- A level 7 or higher qualification in a computer science related discipline.
- Experience deploying and supporting applications across Windows, Linux, and Oracle based environments.
- Experience working with technical and operational resources to ensure applications are available and secure, in an environment undergoing regular change and development.
- Design, administration and operation of large scale Oracle infrastructures.
