Senior/Principal Highways Drainage Engineer Job Description: Lead design packages, engage with disciplines, clients, and site teams. Collaborate with a dynamic team on a wide range of Highways projects in Ireland.

- Join our Transport department in Belfast or Dublin
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Lead highway drainage technical analysis and design
- Support coordinated and sustainable designs in a team environment
- Check and review highway drainage design packages
- Apply and promote policies on health and safety, quality, and training
- Lead design and implementation of sustainable solutions
- Provide guidance, instruct, motivate, and manage staff
- Provide input on bids and contract documentation

Requirements:
- BEng/MEng (Hons) Degree in Civil Engineering
- Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer
- Good working knowledge of highways drainage design, DMRB, MCHW, DMURS, TII specifications
- Good working experience on NTA and/or Df I project control phases and requirements
- Experienced in Micro Drainage and Civil3D software
- Good knowledge of BIM procedures

- Proven record as a competent designer on a number of projects
- Confident and professional manner with excellent communication skills
- Ability to mentor and lead junior staff
- Build strong relationships with peers and co-workers
