Overview Are you an experienced Instrumentation Engineer with experience working in a multi discipline team? Due to our on-going success securing large-scale projects for, we have a requirement for Senior/Principal Instrumentation Engineer to join our Instrumentation Department in Dublin.
To be successful and to enjoy the challenge of this position, the role will suit a Senior Engineer who has previously led large projects (TIC €200 MM) from concept to completion.
This is an opportunity to be involved in a dynamic engineering department with exposure to multiple projects across different industry sectors.

Qualifications Third Level Degree in Instrumentation Engineering (NFQ Level 8) or similar discipline 10+ years of formal experience in industrial engineering design Demonstrable advanced experience in the complete suite of Instrumentation engineering design services including (but not limited to): Instrument Index, I/O Lists/ Allocation, Instrument Specifications/ Data Sheets, Layouts, Cable Containment, Block Diagrams, System Architecture, ATEX / Hazardous Areas Proficient in the use of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) & digital project delivery is an advantage Advanced knowledge of all applicable Instrumentation engineering codes, standards and acceptable industry practices Commercially aware and have the ability to undertake value engineering activities and implement new technologies where they are implemented to provide costs effective solutions for our clients Skilled in project execution, budget control, resource planning and change management Strong verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to prepare written specifications and contract documents Professional approach and demeanour A strong ethical approach to safety, quality, environmental protection and business Why PM Group?
