Service and Commissioning Technician Pillinger of Ireland are looking to hire a Qualified Electrician / Technician to expand on our small and tight-knit team operating out of Cork. Pillinger of Ireland has been established for 87 years and has grown steadily since its inception in 1937. We now offer our clients a wide range of Combustion and Boiler related Services, including supply, installation and servicing of almost everything in the Boiler House, from the Burner to the Chimney. Responsibilities: Carry out planned and reactive inspection/maintenance/commissioning on Boilers, Burners, Combustion Systems and Controls on client sites Trouble shooting and problem solving of combustion and boiler systems Responsible for accurately documenting all work carried out via Service Reports and proposing potential solutions to issues encountered Ensure equipment is maintained in accordance with statutory requirements, manufacturers recommendations and best practice guides Provide updates to Management on all maintenance issues Participate in an on-call rota, once fully trained Supply on-site training to customers and assist colleagues as required Other duties as required Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Fully qualified Electrician (FETAC Level 6) is required with a minimum of 4 years industrial experience desired Safe Pass / Manual Handling desirable, but not necessary Effective troubleshooting/problem solving ability Exhibit a strong aptitude for multi-tasking Demonstrate a high level of technical ability Ability to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team Effective communication skills, self-starter, assertive, work well under pressure. Build effective relationships Full clean driving licence Location flexibility and high mobility required - willingness to work throughout the island of Ireland as and when required RGI registration would be advantageous, but not necessary Salary: Competitive and negotiable, depending on experience.
