Service Desk Administrator Location: Dublin 22 (Office based) Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday Overview: FRS Recruitment are now inviting applications for the role of Service Desk Administrator to join our client on a full time, permanent basis. As a Service Desk Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for all service desk inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient management of requests. You will be a key player in maintaining smooth communication between customers, engineers, and office staff to deliver timely solutions. Potential candidates should be aware that this location does not have direct public transportation links. A personal vehicle is necessary for travel. Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls and emails, ensuring all interactions are professionally managed, logged, and followed up as needed. Follow up on customer queries and manage updates or closures of calls in the system. Liaise with a team of nationwide field technicians and coordinate with various office departments to ensure effective communication and problem resolution. Perform ad hoc administrative duties such as filing and enveloping as required. Skills & Qualifications: Prior experience in service desk operations or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to handle multiple inquiries efficiently. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. Competency in using computer systems for data entry and management. Quick problem-solving skills with an aptitude for assessing customer issues and directing them to appropriate solutions. Flexible and adaptable to meet the evolving needs of the business.
