Job Description

Senior Engineer role in Service Management - Service Engineering team at Central Park, responsible for designing, building, and managing solutions supporting IT Service Management processes.

About the Role: The Service Management Service Engineering team drives the digitisation of processes, automation of user activities, and simplification of tool usage for all Service Management users.

  • Support delivery of key objectives for Resilience, Service Management, and IT Operations.
  • Drive automation, System and Data integration across the team.
  • Maintain and improve existing integrations, systems, and software.
  • Ensure quality criteria are adhered to for all project deliverables.
  • Train/mentor junior staff, review other colleague's technical deliverables, provide feedback to colleagues and team.
  • Contribute and help evolve the engineering landscape through the adoption of new tools and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience working in an IT role with experience leading small and large teams and across a wide range of technologies.
  • Deep working understanding of data structures, data ETL, APIs, and automation from Data Triggers.
  • Good working understanding of tools supporting data capture and manipulation (e.g. Java, Python, APIs, ETL).
  • Ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues.
  • Thought leader for the Service & Operations domain.
