Job Description
Experienced and qualified Service Technicians sought for a full time, permanent position in Kilcullen, County Kildare. Work in a busy workshop, maintaining, servicing, and repairing vehicles to the highest standard within scheduled times and manufacturers specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, service, and repair of all vehicle types to the highest standard
- Advice and reporting of vehicle faults and servicing requirements
- Recording parts used during repairs
- Examination and reporting of vehicle bodywork condition
- Implementing technical bulletins and identifying customer cost-saving opportunities
- Recording and managing parts, warranty claims, and exchange parts
- Maintaining a tidy work area and liaising with service and parts departments
- Training and guiding apprentice technicians
- Attending internal and external training courses
- Providing excellent customer service and protecting customer vehicles
- Driving customer vehicles safely and explaining technical work to customers
Key Requirements:
- MV Technician/Mechanic qualification
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Full, valid driver license
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Good oral and written English
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30
Rate of Pay: €45,000 to €55,000 (DOE)
