Job Description
Seeking experienced technical consultant to provide guidance to customers on Service Now processes and develop solutions for their Service Now environment.
As a Principal Technical Consultant, you will work closely with customers to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions to improve their Service Now environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting customers in process definition, re-engineering, improvement, and gap analysis during workshops with key stakeholders.
- Advising customers on how to leverage Service Now to improve their business processes.
- Guiding customers in completing required documentation, such as business requirement workbooks.
- Drafting user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategy, and knowledge transfer.
- Providing ad-hoc oversight and training for customer's future system administrators.
- Leading technical aspects of project delivery and solution delivery for engagements.
- Providing technical expertise on Service Now best practices, scripting, workflows, and platform capabilities.
- Preparing customer-facing deliverables and ensuring the quality of configured/developed solutions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and customizing Service Now.
- 4+ years of experience with common web technologies and networking.
- Deep understanding of IT Operations Management (ITOM) principles and best practices.
- Strong understanding of ITIL methodologies, IT architecture, JavaScript, and web software design principles.
- Working knowledge of relational databases.
- Ability to prioritize, manage, and refine project backlogs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred certifications:
- Service Now System Administrator Certification.
- Service Now Application Developer Certification.
- Service Now Implementation Specialist in four or more applications.
