A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join their team for a long-term role based in South Dublin. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards, working on major infrastructure and residential projects. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing company with a strong pipeline of work. Key Responsibilities: Accurately set out works according to project plans and design specifications. Conduct site surveys and ensure all levels and measurements are correctly established. Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site. Maintain accurate records and reports of site progress, materials, and measurements. Assist with quality control and ensure all work is completed to the required standard. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. At least 3 years experience working on civil or construction projects. Proven experience in setting out on large-scale civil or construction projects. Proficient in the use of total stations, GPS, and AutoCAD. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and team-working skills. Full drivers licence. Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary in the range of €60,000 - €70,000. Long-term, stable work in South Dublin.
