Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer who is ambitious, creative, and driven to join our team and help us achieve our vision of creating extraordinary homes and communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out and surveying construction sites and ensuring that all work is carried out accurately and to specification. Responsibilities: Set out and survey construction sites using total stations and other surveying equipment. Interpret construction plans and drawings and ensure that work is carried out to specification. Provide technical advice and guidance to the construction team. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and guidelines. Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all work is completed on time and to a high standard. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts that arise during construction. Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and workforce productivity. Provide training and guidance to team members as required. Attend site meetings and provide progress reports as required. Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry/developer. Proficiency in the use of total station, GPS, laser level and other surveying equipment. Proficiency in the use of Autocad and associated programs Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Strong focus on safety and quality. Valid driver's license and own transportation. Benefits: Remuneration will be in line with qualifications and experience. Range €45k+ DOE.
