Setting-out Engineer A Setting-out Engineer required for a Main Building Contractor to work on a Residential Project based in Sligo. Duties: The setting-out Engineer will perform precise setting out of construction works based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Establish reference points, grades, and benchmarks to ensure accurate measurement and alignment. Setting-out Engineer will collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify and implement setting out requirements. Utilize surveying instruments like total stations, GPS, and laser levels for accurate measurements and layouts, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Setting-out Engineer will ensure strong health and safety standards. Requirements: 3 years + experience of setting-out on building projects in Ireland or UK. 3rd level degree in Construction/Civil Engineering. Proficiency with the use of Total Station, EDM instruments & GPS to complete accurate set out.
