Galway-based civil contractors seek a SHEQ Manager to oversee ISO Environmental, Health & Safety, and Quality Management Systems.
SHEQ Manager Job Role:
- Ensure Management and Environmental Management System conforms to ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 45001 standards.
- Set high standards of leadership in promoting HS&E procedures and ensuring compliance with Company procedures and legal obligations.
- Report on Quality and Environmental Management System performance and opportunities for improvement to Top Management.
- Control Document Information and act as liaison with external parties on Health & Safety and Environmental Management system matters.
- Implement and maintain Health & Safety and Environmental Management System, ensuring Quality Management System integrity.
SHEQ Job Specification:
- Min. Level 8 Qualification (or equivalent) in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Min. Certificate Level in Environmental Management, IOSH Membership.
- 5+ years experience in civil engineering industry (previous experience preferred).
- Valid Safe Pass and/or SMSTS card holder.
- Experience in co-ordinating Health and Safety, ISO Quality Standards, Internal Auditing, risk assessments, and corrective action plans.
- High level of administrative/IT skills.
- Willingness to travel.
