Lead a team of production staff on evening shifts, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to team leaders and staff to develop their skills and capabilities.
- Implement and control production schedules, making adjustments as needed to meet packing requirements.
- Manage human and material resources to meet production targets, maintaining standard operating procedures.
- Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems, implementing improvements to the production process.
- Monitor and review staff performance, including lateness and absence, and deal with HR-related issues.
- Authorise shift payroll and ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a management role with a sizeable team in a production environment.
- Third-level qualification in a related field is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and able to supervise general operatives and manage resources effectively.
- Knowledge of the launder production process from soil intake to end of line.
