Job Description
Seeking experienced Shift Manager to oversee warehouse operations and team management in a dynamic logistics environment.
As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and optimal availability. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating shift activities to achieve cost control and meet targets and KPIs
- Identifying training needs and supporting team development
- Maximising efficiency and productivity through resource utilisation
- Ensuring compliance with operational processes and maintaining relevant standards
- Providing leadership and support to enable team members to achieve objectives
- Implementing and maintaining quality management systems
- Monitoring warehouse processes and maintaining operational integrity
Required skills and experience include:
- Proficient communication skills
- Computer literacy, including Excel, Email, and internal warehousing systems
- Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience
- Strong timekeeping and safety awareness
- Knowledge of Irish geography and depot coverage areas
- Problem-solving and people management skills
- Logistics experience (preferred)
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dynamic team and contribute to delivering exceptional service to customers throughout Ireland and the UK. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing warehouse resources, coordinating shift activities, and ensuring that targets and KPIs are achieved.
