Job Title: Shift Manager Location: Portarlington Remuneration: €45,000-€50,000 per annum Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time Responsibilities: ?? Lead and manage the warehouse resources to ensure smooth operations and optimal availability at all times. ?? Coordinate shift activities, aligning with targets and KPIs to achieve cost control. ?? Identify training needs and support development of the team. ?? Maximise efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity through resource utilisation. ?? Inspire and guide the warehouse team in delivering exceptional customer service. ?? Ensure compliance with operational processes and maintain relevant standards. ?? Encourage effective communication and employee engagement within the team. ?? Promote a safe and quality-driven work environment. ?? Maintain excellent service levels and customer satisfaction. ?? Provide leadership and support to enable team members to achieve objectives. ?? Implement and maintain quality management systems. ?? Monitor warehouse processes and maintain operational integrity. Required Experience: ?? Proficient communication skills. ?? Computer literacy, including Excel, Email, and internal warehousing systems. ?? Minimum 3 years of people leadership. ?? Strong timekeeping and safety awareness. ?? Knowledge of Irish geography and depot coverage areas. ?? Problem-solving and people management skills. ?? Logistics experience (preferred).
