Lead and manage a team of production operators, monitor daily work operations, and oversee production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of production operators.
Ensure effective communication and coordination within the team.
Monitor daily work operations and provide direction to the team to achieve unit or departmental goals.
Oversee daily production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Monitor and optimize production processes for quality and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and standards.
Conduct regular EHS audits and risk assessments.
Organize and lead safety training sessions for the team.
Maintain up-to-date documentation related to EHS activities.
Requirements:
Good knowledge of production processes and EHS regulations.
Automation experience is desirable but not essential.
5 years experience working in a technical production environment (e.g. Heavy industry - Refinery, Chemical, Oil & Gas, or Bulk Pharmaceutical).
A Level 7 in a Bachelor of Science/ Engineering or relevant qualification.
Excellent problem-solving skills and technical acumen.
Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Proficiency in using relevant technical and production software.
