Job Description

Provide technical guidance on mechanical and controls issues, document issues and fixes, and utilise Lean Six Sigma tools to improve uptime, yield and performance. Key responsibilities include fault-finding, troubleshooting, and quality investigations. Requirements include a Level 8 Engineering degree and relevant experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.

**Key Responsibilities:**
Provide technical guidance on mechanical and controls issues
Document issues and fixes in technical shift hand-over document
Utilise Lean Six Sigma tools to review and analyse data for uptime, yield and performance
Attend shift Tier meetings and lead daily technical actions relating to equipment performance
Liaise with the Manufacturing team to coordinate resources in alignment with priorities
Co-ordinate the execution of planned and unplanned maintenance activities on shift
Fault-finding/troubleshooting of equipment and process issues

**Requirements:**
Level 8 Engineering degree (Electronic or Mechanical preferred)
Relevant experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
Good problem-solving abilities and experience of developing a working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic software controls, and automated vision systems
Experience working in a validated medical device/pharmaceutical environment is preferred
Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
