Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager and Site Manager in day-to-day site management.
- Supervise and coordinate site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Provide technical support and advice to subcontractors and site personnel.
- Conduct site surveys, set out works, and ensure accurate dimensional control.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records, including site diaries, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
- Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on site.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progression.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably with experience in educational or commercial projects.
- Proficient in the use of surveying equipment, AutoCAD, and other construction software.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Valid Safe Pass and manual handling certificates.
