Seeking a dedicated Site Engineer to manage an educational project in Wicklow, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager and Site Manager in day-to-day site management.
  • Supervise and coordinate site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
  • Provide technical support and advice to subcontractors and site personnel.
  • Conduct site surveys, set out works, and ensure accurate dimensional control.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed records, including site diaries, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
  • Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on site.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progression.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably with experience in educational or commercial projects.
  • Proficient in the use of surveying equipment, AutoCAD, and other construction software.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Valid Safe Pass and manual handling certificates.
