Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Engineer to join for an educational project in Wicklow. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Assist the Project Manager and Site Manager in the day-to-day management of the site. Site Supervision: Supervise and coordinate site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship. Technical Support: Provide technical support and advice to subcontractors and site personnel. Surveying: Conduct site surveys, set out works, and ensure accurate dimensional control. Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed records, including site diaries, progress reports, and as-built drawings. Health & Safety: Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on site. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progression. Requirements: Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably with experience in educational or commercial projects. Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of surveying equipment, AutoCAD, and other construction software. Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work. Certifications: Valid Safe Pass and manual handling certificates.
