Site Engineer role with a leading Civil Contractor in Cork, requiring a qualified engineer with 2+ years' experience to manage site operations and ensure high-quality construction.
Our client is a prominent Civil Contractor with operations throughout Ireland, seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct work in a safe manner, adhering to Health and Safety standards and ensuring all works are carried out to the highest quality.
- Implement quality control procedures and project-specific protocols to guarantee exceptional results.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and design teams.
- Review and critique designs, communicating with designers to ensure adequate construction information.
- Manage subcontractors and site workforce, planning works efficiently to meet program targets.
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation of discussions and meetings.
- Maximise profit through effective self-management, accuracy, and contractual awareness.
Requirements:
- Third-level degree in Engineering.
- 2+ years' experience as a civil site engineer, preferably with a main contractor, subcontractor, or surveying firm.
- Good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Proactive and driven individual with a strong desire to progress and a solid construction knowledge base.
Package:
- Salary €45k - €65k depending on experience.
